- Hi,
-
- I have some problems using 'amigaguide.library' in an Arexx script.
- The script uses some library, that allows to send a HELP_REQUEST.
-
- The help request is _only_ recognised and executed, when I
- interactivly TRACE the script.
-
- I had this several times with completly other things (for example working with
- an own port) that some functions are done by Arexx only if I trace it.
-
- Why is this so ?
-
- Then, if I trace the script and press "help" the function ShowNode() of
- 'amigaguide.library's' rexxhost is called and it will show up the correct guide.
- But - after that some invisible command or function is executed as well ! I had
- this hooked up to a macro, that first addressed some app's port, and the app
- said, after closing the guide:"Unknown command/script".
-
- When disabling the hook to the port I got my disk searched. TRACE did not show
- anything than a >+>
-
- Any ideas ?
-
-
- Thanks.
